The movie that gives you the nostalgic feeling.
I was watching a video clip of a movie, "Kuch kuch hota hai". A hindi movie. Particularly this one below.

Quick Find: My thoughts

I dream everyday. In fact every time I sleep. Nope not exaggerating. I remembered that I've dreamed something. Bits and pieces of the dream but not really the whole dream. Some are just nothing, some would make me wake up in the middle of the night feeling scared. There would be times I can remember the dreams.
I'm not really bothered actually but would be great if I don't dream at all. When I was younger I even sleep walk sometimes. Though now no more, the dreams stays. How often do you dream?

One of my wisdom tooth is coming out at a very slow pace. I have been having toothache for few days now. More likely gum ache. Last time I had one of my wisdom tooth was way back in year 2001. Had really high fever. The tooth came out fast. But one side of my face got swollen and I couldn't eat anything solid. Only baby food. Food tasted bland. Only then I knew how good it was to be able to chew, made food taste good. :D Remember waking up 3 o'clock in the morning walking up and down 5 storey hostel. Walking from one end of the corridor to the other end. Was that painful, couldn't stay at one place.
Anyway now my other one is coming out. But not like the other one. Came out really slow. Been a year already. The pain comes on and off. Only now I could see the tip of the tooth broke through the gum. With this kind of pace maybe the tooth will only fully come out years later. How it got the name wisdom tooth anyway? I will check on this.

Thanks Avee for this. :)
1. List 6 things that describe yourself today.
2. Add your blog to the list. Feel free to add all your other blogs.
3. Tag other online friends you know.
Okay, 6 things that describe myself today... hmmmm....
1. Cranky -Felt a little bit cranky in the morning. Don't know why but didn't really feel so good when I woke up. Not for too long though. Started to feel better after a dose caffeine in a cup. (coffee)
2. Happy -Felt better afterwards. Got my SDHC card I ordered through ebay. Took them more than a week but as long as it reaches me in good condition, I'm happy.
3. Relaxed - Afternoon, felt a bit more relaxed. While Bonnie was sleeping, I read a book next to her. Haven't been doing that for so long.
4. Irritable - Did some cleaning and washing, so tired a bit and irritable.
5. Excited - Finally can sit down and check whether the SDHC card works on my mp3. It works! so I was excited and still am. :)
6. Tired - Now I'm tired. Will go off to bed right after another post. :D

This piece of contraption is one of the many stair lifts sold in the US. Neat invention isn't it? I think it should be sold in many countries, Malaysia and Hungary included. There are so many accidents that involved the elderly when they use the stairs. With this, perhaps it could lessen the probability for an accident to happen. If not, the kids would definitely enjoy. I would enjoy it myself too. :D

Quick Find: My thoughts

The picture just taken a few minutes ago from my kitchen window. It's 7.26pm now and it is still bright. Yes, the days are becoming longer. My daughter wouldn't sleep till it gets real dark. So you know what that means. She'd be up till 9 to 10 pm. One thing I'm amazed is that, despite her sleeping late, she would get up as early as 6 am. Well, I know some nephews and nieces of mine would wake up as late as they got to sleep.
Only one thing I like about winter is the long nights. LOL

Quick Find: My thoughts
My daughter has started talking more and more. Sometimes funny, sometimes annoying too. Especially whenever I tell her to do something, she would say,"Shhh, csupbe" or shhh, shut your mouth. That's the one that really irritates me. LOL But at times, I cannot help but feel amazed at how well she can talk. Even her father would be surprised at how clear the full entire phrase she uttered.
Below is something I found from a website. How children between 4-8 describes the word "love". Some of them, are very touching. I would like to ask Bonnie what she thinks of the word "love". Not now, but when she's 4 at least. :)
"What does love mean?" These are answers from 4 to 8 year olds.
When my grandma got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toe nails anymore. So my grandpa does it for her now all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.
Rebecca - age 8
When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouths.
Billy - age 4
Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other.
Kari - age 5
Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your french fries without making them give you any of theirs.
Chrissy - age 6
Love is what makes you smile when you're tired.
Terri - age 4
Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him to make sure the taste is OK.
Danny - age 7
Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My mommy and my daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss.
Emily - age 8
Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.
Bobby - age 7
If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate.
Nikki - age 6
Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it every day.
Noelle - age 7
Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well.
Tommy - age 6
During my piano recital, I was on stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore.
Cindy - age 8
My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night.
Clare - age 6
Love is when mommy gives daddy the best piece of chicken.
Elaine - age 5
Love is when mommy sees daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford.
Chris - age 7
Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day.
Mary Ann - age 4
When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you.
Karen - age 7
You really shouldn't say "I LOVE YOU" unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.
Jessica - age 8

Quick Find: My thoughts
My poor husband finally has no work to do from home this weekend. But right now he is reading a book regarding his profession. Sometimes honestly he scares me for his being a little bit nerdy. *laughs* Well not so bad, maybe just the age. He never understands why I like anime, why I like PC games. Though I can no longer can enjoy these things, but I still like them.
Anyway, since we have nothing to do this weekend, and oh, we have 3 days holiday here. Pentecost on Sunday. So they brought forward the holiday to Monday. We plan to spend the holiday with a family friend. Actually, the little boy's family whom I'm tutoring. They have a weekend house in the countryside. Won't be too long. So don't need any luggage. Just bring ourselves. I'm looking forward to it. I miss the kid too since I haven't met him for sometime now. Will start tutoring him back most probably next weekend.

Quick Find: My thoughts
Yesterday, I had a one to one lesson with a student. He is working. So came by to my place in the evenings. He had to attend a business coaching seminar. Something which I read about not to long ago. He told me about it, and I mentioned that I know. He was surprised to learn that I know about it and a few terms regarding it.I may not be an expert, but at least I can understand when people are talking about these things. Perhaps he thought that since I am a stay at home mother, I would not know anything else besides taking care of baby and house. To tell the truth I have never read about so many things before. I guess blogging does make you read, so that you can blog about it! :) I am reading about corporate performance management now.

Quick Find: My thoughts
I have never planted or taken care of a flower plant in my life. Besides one beautiful, Aloe Vera plant I had, which I called, Cleopatra. LOL. Yeah I give my plant a name. Even that too my father helped me care for it most of the times. It was the envy of the neighbours. Really big and beautiful. They kept asking my father how it grew that big. One thing I know, both my father and grandmother had green thumbs which I don't inherit. Well, I don't know, since I never tried planting. Hah hah!
Here, when it's spring, everything looks nicer. Even the vandalized walls look nice. :D The neighbours all have flowers in their little gardens. Made me feel like planting too. So guess what? I started to a little bit of small gardening. So let's see how it will turn out and see whether I inherit my father's green thumb. :D

Quick Find: My thoughts

Weather has been very good these past few days. No rain, cool weather and a little bit of sunshine. Looking at the windows I think it's about time I do a little Spring Cleaning. I mean a thorough cleaning. Last time I cleaned them was few weeks back. Things get dusty easily now I guess. Or in winter you don't notice too much because it would be too cold to clean them. The neighbour is beating a rug out side the window now. :)
Of course have to clean everyday. Must. Bonnie's toys would be everywhere, crumbs, yogurt spill, pudding, and other things if I don't clean, the place would be as if just hit by Hurricane Bonnie. Children are at their messiest at this age.I don't think I can clean everything at one time though, would be a back breaking chore. LOL I've put Bonnie down for a nap. So, just this post and another one, and off I go to do the cleaning.

Since SocialSpark.com is rather new, it is still looking for more advertisers to use SocialSpark's service, to get bloggers to advertise for them. I, for one am very happy to be a part of SocialSpark. Not only because I can make money, but also read a lot about products and services. Many that are quite new to me.
My blog is in a way, about anything and everything, but most of the times about the things that I am interested in or that I think might interest visitors. However, I personally would like to write more about products and services that relates to women and children. Not only because I am a woman and have a child, but because most of my blog visitors are women and I believe many bloggers who are in SocialSpark are also women. Most of them I think are mommy bloggers. Perhap brands like L'oreal, Maybelline, Mothercare, Osh kosh b'gosh etc.
This way, the advertisers can kill 2 birds with one stone. Why? They can get more exposure for their products and services, and also, they might even get the women bloggers to become a customer or client. That is just my humble opinion.
Nevertheless, it would be a real pleasure to write something you have experience with or you know a little about, or you can relate to.

Quick Find: My thoughts
Both baby and the daddy are sleeping. So I can be here reading the news, articles, blogging and downloading. Thought it has been a long time since I last rant here.
I believe many must have heard about the Austrian incest case. I just can't help sharing my thoughts here after reading the latest report of the case. It was a real shocker and a sad one that is. For 24 years this man locked his own poor daughter and fathered 7 children from her. Real monstrous. Today, I read that he was upset that the media called him that. What else can people call such a person or animal in human mask?
It started 24 years ago, I was 4 years old then. I went to school, meet new people, make friends, fell in love, got married to a wonderful man, and have a beautiful daughter. Within that period of time she was locked up by this monster down his basement. Never to see the light of day again. Beaten up, sexually abused, got pregnant, and can't imagine how it was when she gave birth. And to imagine all those babies growing up down there. She is 42 years old now. How much he has taken away from her? And he had the guts to say, he cared for her and the children. He is not even charged yet for goodness sake!
In pakistan, you get women killed just talking to another man who are not their husbands or brothers. Honor killing they say. Police couldn't do anything about it. In this case, they found the daughter and the children, she made a statement. The monster confessed he fathered 7 children, still they needed to do further investigations. He should have been shot then and there. What ever it is, even if he does get charged in the end, I hope they don't go and put him in a Luxurious Austrian Prison. Really sad actually, thinking even if shoot him to death, nothing can ever repair the damages he had caused to so many lives. And now trying to claim "insanity". I'd beat him insane. Really angering.
This is a case found out by chance, can't imagine how many cases out there not reported, and never will be. Children are supposed to be protected not to be abused like that. Sometimes I see here at the park Hungarian moms would chit chat while their kids roam around in the park alone playing. Though it's a small park, when there are too many kids you really cannot keep track. Just because it never happened that people kidnap children at the park here doesn't mean you can just let your child play alone or you can see from where you are talking. Things like this happen in just a few seconds. There are so many sick in the head people that look normal outside. Not to say to be over paranoid, but you won't lose anything to be extra cautious.

Quick Find: My thoughts
I remember as a child of 5 - 6 years old in mid 1980's, one of my favourite activities is watching tv. Those days, since I lived in Johor Bharu, a neighbouring city to Singapore, we could get very clear signals of Singaporean channels. They were called SBC then and not Mediacorp. :D
That time I couldn't really tell the time. But one thing for sure I know that when the long hand points up and the short hand points to the right. (3 o'clock) That's when the singaporean channel would start. I could sing the Singaporean anthem first before I could sing the Malaysian national anthem at school. Ha ha ha.
You know what was my favourite programmes those days? Chinese drama. LOL Especially the martial arts. Where the actress and actors when fighting they could fly. :D Then there was one very memorable drama, "Samsui woman". Who are the samsui women ? Read about them here.
And what did I tell you that you can really find everything on youtube, I found the opening of the programme. Oh my bring back the memories. I wonder whether they sell dvds of this series. I really love this drama.

Woohoo! I just got my creative zen today by courier service. How many days was that? 7 days exactly I think. If not counting the non-working days, so it took about 4 working days to reach here.
So far, I'm happy with it. Sound system was as expected. Very very good. Video and picture quality also very good. I have yet to fiddle around with it. Install the latest firmware and and my files. Happy!
Now I'm waiting for my 4gb sdhc card which I ordered last week through ebay then I'd be able to add more files. :D

Quick Find: Hobbies, My thoughts
One of my favourite things that I will always cherish is a music box my mother gave me when I was 16. Every time I listen to the music it plays, it reminds me of her. I just love music boxes. I only have 3 and would like to buy more, but one of them totally broken because of nephews and bonnie also. So I really think I will only start much later when I have more place to keep them and further more we will be making our move so wouldn't want to collect more stuffs.
I still browse sometimes to look at the music boxes. The antique ones are my favourite. In fact the antique ones that triggered my liking for musical boxes. Look at them, aren't they beautiful? Found these pictures, googled them. The last one looks exactly like the one my mother gave.

Quick Find: My thoughts
I read about how an unhealthy colon may cause health problems to the body. By right a person should have bowel movement up more than once. Wow. I thought once is good enough. Eventually nope. Should be one elimination per meal a day. Which means if you eat 3 times a day. So should go to the toilet 3 times too. And I thought there was something wrong with one of my housemate while at the Uni. Everytime she ate she had to go. Very healthy colon she had then. LOL
Many religion in the world promotes fasting. Reason is to help the digestive system cleanse itself. But how many times a year, oh say, a month does a person just stop eating for at least a day? For muslims we fast in the month of Ramadhan from daybreak to sunset for 29 to 30 days. But I know many people fast day time and they consume more than they do on an ordinary day when they break their fast. LOL.
Perhaps that is why so many colon cleanse products are out there in the market. I have never tried any though. Have you ever seen the pictures they use to proof how dirty people colons can be? I just don't dare to imagine how my colon looks like from the inside. LOL I'll stick to fasting.
