I'm a worrier.

I know sometimes people tell me that I worry too much. But what can I do ? It's a habit that have been developing for years. Worrying is not such a bad thing at least we are kept on alert. :P

Are you a worrier?

Your Worry Factor is 49%

While you're not a worrywart, you worry more than you should.

Maybe you don't have enough to keep your mind occupied at times...

Or perhaps you've trapped yourself into some bad thinking patterns.

Try to worry less and enjoy life more. There's no point thinking about things you can't change!

Morning Person or Night Person?

I always thought that I'm a night person.Though I can still wake up in the mornings and I can stay up late. My husband used to tell me there is no such thing as night person or morning person. Humans and animals are supposed to wake up early and sleep when the sun goes down. Just go to sleep when the time comes and not wait till you feel you are sleepy, definitely you can wake up early. There is logic in what he said, but he is the disciplined morning person. Easy for him to say eh? In Malaysia, before we had our daughter, he used to wake up by sunrise and do his kung fu training. How scary disciplined is that? LOL Seems like Bonnie is taking up after him. Real early riser.

You Are an Afternoon Person

You can find energy any time of the day ... or night!

You prefer to be out and about when most other people are.

Very early mornings or very late nights aren't really your thing.

You're practically solar powered, and the afternoon is when do best.

Retro ipod alarm clock.

One thing that is undeniably good about ipods is that, they have many accessories. If you are an ipod owner or going to get one, you might want this too. An ipod alarm clock, so you can wake up to your favourite music. It works as a dock and as a charger. Suitable for most ipod except ipod shuffle. I wonder when creative lab is going to come up with more accessories for its creative zen player.

Garfield Cartoon Strip on the day I was born.

Garfield comic strip has been in the newspapers since 1978. Nearly 30 years ago, and the comic strips keep on coming to this very day. I have this gadget installed on my igoogle homepage, of Garfield daily comic strips. :) I happened to wonder what comic strip came out on the day I was born. 25/7/1980. So here it is.

Sculptures of the magical forest.

Received these pictures from a friend. They are simply amazing! Reminds me of the movies Lord of The ring, and Narnia. My husband doesn't like fantasy movies. But I like them. Received many emails from my friend about these kind of things but this one, I just got to show here. By the way, do you know where this is?

Reminds me of Gandalf.

I like this one.

And this one too.

Mowgli from Jungle book?

Some people are really talented.

Reading books through your phone.

For some months now I have been reading books using my small, Z310 sony ericsson. :) Since I think it is pretty neat, so I would like to share with you about this. If you ever would like to try it.

You can go to booksinmyphone.com to choose the books available there. Download it to your pc. They are 2 files, .jar and .jad files that comes in a .zip. So you go to extract the file that is suitable for your phone. Mine used .jar. Seem pretty easy to use. The only limitation is, you can only read the books that are there on the site. Most of them are only free books.

However, my favourite is, mjBook maker. You get to make your own mobile book. I am using this one. The other one if they have the book that I would like to read then I'd rather download from booksinmyphone so I don't have to create my own . And since I download plenty of books in .txt format, that's why I prefer this one. More choices you see. Anyway, about this mjBook maker. It is a simple program, where you upload .txt file of the book that you would like to read. Must be in .txt. Choose your format, the fonts, the background the way you like it. You can create it into .jar file or even .jad files. Of course the set back is, no pictures. But who cares.

So search for these sites and check them out. I recommend it.

Hydrosliders

Hydrothumb

If you love water sports you just got to try this.HydroSliders. Check out the video to see what is exactly a hydroslider and how it works.

Hawaiian Hottie HydroSlides! - Funny videos are here

Not only it can be used for fun but as a mode of water transportation. I'm thinking of the kids in Borneo, in rural areas, where they had to go to school by boat. :) Something like a water bicycle.

Another thing, it would be great for exercise since to move the contraption you need the movements of jumping and the pumping of the arms. Real fat burner there.

Would you want to have this in your bathroom?

I like to browse websites that sells novelty things. Some things are very unique and cute. Some are just way too weird. While browsing today I came upon this particular item. It's called, Hanging Harry Bathroom Light Pull.

Can only use it for bathroom lighting that requires you to pull on a string to turn on the light of course. Costs £6.95 for one. Advertiser's description for this.

Just imagine the fun you could have mercilessly pulling down on a hanging blue corpse... you could, of course, pretend you’re simply pulling on a light pull when you’re taking out your repressed homicidal feelings... ahh, pure bliss...

Would it be pure bliss to pull a dead blue hanging corpse?? errrhh, maybe for some not for me though. Kinda strange. Well, novelty things are not suppose to be normal right? :D

But this light faucet looks good though. Suppose to change colours according to the temperature of the water. Blue for cold water and red for hot.

What do you think? Would you have a hanging blue corpse in your bathroom? LOL

Wikitalk public launch

Have you ever heard of WikiTalk? If you haven't, it is because it is a new social networking and an accumulation of interesting contents website. Something like stumble upon and digg and many like them. If you love stumble upon and digg, I believe you would like this. I say this because I checked out their website and I find it impressive.

When you go to the website, you would be able to see a collection of hot topics. These topics can be from blogs, from news websites, from youtube, product reviews, etc, that people submitted to Wikitalk. When you click on one of the topics you will see something like the picture below. I didn't install the plugin so I got the pop up on my screen. Click on the image and you should be able to see the picture larger view.

Below the site that you are visiting, there will be a frame where you can see the discussion going on, regarding the topic on that particular website.

By the way, the plugin can only be used with IE. I'm using firefox. So as you can see, I didn't even have to download the plugin, yet I still could browse the website. Though if you feel the need to join in the discussion, you need to register. The plugin is to enable you to start a discussion on any website that you are browsing, without having to go back to Wikitalk's page to submit it there.

I personally think it's like taking a discussion forum along with you while browsing! Since the site is something like digg, you would be able to find really interesting things to read.

The site has got my thumbs up. So don't miss to Check out the WikiTalk.com Public Launch!

A word of caution, you might get addicted to it.

My tamagotchi

I received my tamagotchi a week ago or so. Got it through amazon.co.uk. Costs me about 11 pounds or slightly more. I have a live sized tamagotchi (my daughter) yet here I got myself another one. Which is a lot less headache than the live sized one.

Here's my baby boy at 6 years old. 1 day is equivalent to 1 year in tamagotchi years. I named him Bobby by the way. LOL He is a mametchi. Cute ain't he? Today he just turned 6 years old but I don't have another tamagotchi girl that he can get hooked with so the old match maker lady came to do matchmake. But seeing the girl was kind of ugly I refused. LOL I want to breed superior looking tamagotchis only. He he he. Yeah right....

Tomorrow if the matchmaker comes again I will try to take a picture. I read somewhere I cannot keep on refusing. Once my tamagotchi turns 8 or 9 the matchmaker will stop coming and there goes the chance for my Bobby to mate. I need a new egg from him for the next generation.

I'm already thinking of getting another one so the two tamagotchis can visit each other. LOL I'm such a big child. :D

Rooftop confessions.

How many fun websites do you encounter everyday? Well, here is another one for you to bookmark under fun sites. Rooftopconfessions dot com. Something like post your secrets where people are able to confess about their dark, or funny, or crazy secrets. This site, however, uses videos and stories told are not necessarily secrets.
It may be some wacky, strange, funny, embarrasing experience you encountered or you did. The site is free to join and it is free to submit any confessional videos. Takes some guts to confess on video and post it on the net.

Now why is it Rooftop confessions? Because the confessions are recorded from rooftops across the US. It started with a group of friends hanging out on the weekends on a rooftop of a building somewhere in New York. They started telling each other their confessions. Then the recording part came in until they have plenty of these videos. They thought it would be cool to share it and would be an even cooler idea if people elsewhere would be able to submit their own confessions. I think it is quite interesting.

Oh yes, you are able to download the videos onto your handphones too. In case if you would want to share it with family and friends.

Some are bizarre, some funny, some strange, some a little bit unbelievable. But overall I think they are pretty entertaining.Would you dare sending one of your own?

Our eyes listen?

I downloaded this video years back. I don't remember where from. This is a very unique video. When you listen to it first time, look at the man's face or mouth. What do you hear? Then replay the video. This time close your eyes and listen. What do you hear?

Yup, you hear two different things. No trick here. It's the same video that you listened to both times. Amazing isn't it? You can actually fool your mind.

Show off your typing speed.

I started learning to type when I was 8 years old. I remember the day when my father came back home from work, with a typing manual. I was excited. :) The first typewriter I used was an old heavy typewriter that was capable of breaking bones if ever it falls on anyone's foot.

My father put thick books one on top of the other and set me up on them so I could reach the typewriter. My fingers were small and weak still and to hit the typewriter keys weren't easy. Many times my little fingers went write through the keypads. Painful at times. So thus began my typewriting days.

I haven't been practicing much. The only time I found this skill useful was when I had to type long assignments at my university. I even had to help my slow typing friends then. The other times are when I'm blogging or emailing. :)

Anyway here is my typing speed result. What's yours?
