Yesterday evening, while we were waiting in line at a pharmacy, our daughter, Bonnie pointed at somethings and asked us to buy one of the things she was pointing at. They were lip balms. She said she wanted lipstick like mommy.
She is only going to turn 4 this December but she wants grown up stuffs (I know, like most kids). We had to promise that we'd get her a child lipgloss later so that she wouldn't make a scene in the pharmacy ( parents sometimes have no choice other than to promise/bribe their kids to avoid embarrassment).
I don't blame Bonnie, for I too was a little girl once -wanting to try out my mom's make up and her high heel shoes. Just like what I used to do as a child with my mom, Bonnie would be standing next to me when I put on my eyeliner, my mascara, my lipstick or lipgloss. Everytime asking me to put on her as well. :)
Anyhow, here I am googling about lipgloss for 4 year olds. Also looking at cute looking compact mirrors for her. I know now that perhaps it wouldn't be too long now when I have to look for her the best acne treatment. Kids do grow up fast.
