No online shopping for a while.

I was just going to order something for my husband from Amazon today when I saw that I couldn't use my credit card anymore. It's expiring this month. The customer service officer at the bank told me that I could use it till the end of this month though. Can't really trust what these people say sometimes. I could not charge my credit card account any longer. Just great...

I'm still waiting for my cousin to post my replacement card to me. Being patient really isn't so much my strong point. Even more when it is relating to my credit card. No online shopping with my credit card for a while now. :(

Fortunate enough though that I found out sooner that I couldn't use the card. Seems that my insurance company could not charge my card for my monthly insurance payments. I was required to make payments at the nearest branch. What nearest branch? I am 8 thousand miles away from the nearest branch! Thank goodness for internet banking, for the first time in 5 years I made my insurance payment through my online banking. I've been worried about my card expiring and not able to pay my insurance for months now. My insurance is really important for me somehow. Well, it is not like I'll be getting any social security disability income should anything happen to me, that's why.

I really am looking forward to getting my credit card soon. Feel so handicapped without one right now. LOL
