Mayweather Jr. vs. De la hoya.

If you are a boxing fan, most probably you would know about the legendary battle last year in May between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Oscar De la hoya. If you did not watch the match, chances are you must have heard about it. Maybe the match itself must have converted some non-fans into a boxing fan.Further it was perhaps the most watched match in history with revenue of $134.4 million in pay per view and $18.4 million in live gate.Beating the record of the match between Lennox Lewis vs Mike Tyson.

Oscar De la hoya lost his WBC light middleweight championship belt and title to Floyd Mayweather with just a split decision, you would have guessed that people want to see more, to know what would the outcome be if they really had rematch. Whether Mayweather is able to defend the title. Further with the revenue the past match had collected, I believe it would be a prospect difficult for the sponsors to pass. Perhaps the numbers would not be as close as the first match, but a good figure from Oscar De La Hoya vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. tickets sales is still expected.

Talks were made regarding the rematch. De la hoya's promotion CEO Richard Schaefer made an announcement that the rematch may happen on the 13th or the 20th of September. The venue though are not determined. But the venue most probably will be at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Ticket are open for booking. Visit teamonetickets.com to book.
