Farah passed me this tag. A very interesting one because as she said on her post, thinking of the recent happy things makes me feel happy even now. So here it goes the 10 recent happy things:
1. I have a feeling that my daughter is able to understand more and more. I don't have to ask her 2-3 times to go take a bath or wash up. She immediately would come and follow. You can't imagine how happy I am for that! Because it can be quite nerve wrecking to handle a stubborn 2 year old. Every chore with her from eating to bathing to putting on clothes we had to struggle. LOL
2. My husband was on leave for one week. He had something to finish, didn't go anywhere. But I like it when he is around. I was really happy for that. So last week was rather relaxing.
3. Ordered something from Amazon. A tamagotchi. LOL. I know what you're thinking. "Aren't you kind of too old for that?". When it first came out in 1996?, I wanted one of those. But couldn't find. I forgot about it, but when I was browsing Amazon for a toy for Bonnie, I came across the product again, so I though, "Heck, why not? once I'm tired of it, I will give it to my daughter". Furthermore, would be nice to have a collection of those, I am sure Bonnie would love them. The egg will be here soon. Also bought some other things but, I don't have to list all do I? The tamagotchi is special. LOL :D Shopping and happiness goes kinda well together no?
4. As Farah wrote about how happy she is that Syabil her son, being able to understand and speak malay. I also am happy for the same reason for my daughter. She can understand and speak more and more Malay. Words like "Daddy, terja", "nak minum", "makan" and other words. For this not only I'm happy but proud that she can speak my mother tongue despite having only me to speak the language with. :D
5. How could I forget, I received a care pack from a good friend of mine about a week ago or so. She sent spices for me and some toys and books for Bonnie. Everytime I opened the kitchen cabinet and saw my stock of spices still there, I am happy. LOL, little things that I took for granted back home.
6. I am happy for the experience of staying in a different country experiencing another culture. Either good or bad, the experience is making me see things in a different light. Things that I may not understand before but now I do. Well, this is not a recent happy thing, but an ongoing one. :D
7. Oh yeah, I'm happy that I'm making some pocket money from my blog. Not only for the money, but I'm glad that I always learn something new when I have to write about certain things. Especially writing about places.
8. My mom in law came just now. She was not well past few days, and she came to see Bonnie. She was hugging and kissing her and saying how much she misses the little imp. Didn't see only 2 days for goodness sake. She told me, that she really really loves Bonnie. I'm happy. Because I didn't have grandmas to tell me that. Not because I didnt' have any, but because of my parents' race. You know, the kind of thing. One grandma didn't like because mom came from a race she didn't particularly admire, the other grandma also the same. That's why I'm happy that regardless of my race she was able to love my daughter and even proud because of that.
9. I am happier for who I am now, because I feel that I am in a better shape than I was about 10 years ago. Better condition. Less heartache.
10. I'm happy for being able to feel happy.
Thank you Farah for passing this tag to me. Really made me smile. So now, who shall I pass this wonderful tag to?
I will pass this to Een, Spec, Ida and Lina. Try this girls, will make you smile too. :)

hello tana..
:) tq for the tag. will do it at once :D
Syari, yes, having a toddler who understands what you tell and instruct takes a load off your shoulders! i felt the same with Syabil, of course sometimes, he gets stubborn, but it's alot easier to communicate in words with him. what is TAMAGOTCHI???????????? i dont' even know what that is!!!
so cute of Bonnie to speak in Malay...mesti cute je her pronunciation since surely her tongue will be more Hungarian than malaysian. Syabil stays in Malaysia, even so, pelik when he talks Malay words, but i dont mind it. I am sure he'll catch up malay language in school and all, afterall, how could he not know malay when he is in malaysia kan? :) Bonnie will grow up being fluent in Malay, english and Hungarian language. very lucky girl!
happy to know you have great in laws and that your MIL loves Bonnie a lot. tak jumpa 2 hari mcm 2 tahun ye? :)
thanks for sharing Syari...i love reading what makes you happy, even reading abt happiness of others, make me smile.....
I'm sure your little Bonnie is well-loved by all. She's so sweet. It's really sad sometimes that people can't see beyond the race thing.
Lucky thing my grandma actually likes my fiance. Phew!
Ida pun pernah ada tamagochi tu tapi bukan brand tamagochi la. It's called 'cyber pet' masa tuh. mula2 excited jaga dia tp ended up member yg bela...hahahaha
You're welcome spec and thanks for doing the tag. :D
Farah, Tamagotchi is a virtual pet. With this toy you get to have a pet alien, take care of it from baby until it dies or go back to it's home planet. Just fulfilling childhood cravings. LOL I love playing pc games, but since I don't have time for it now I try this one, but most prob not much time for this too, but I have a feeling this, just like my teddy bears, would be Bonnie's LOL. She considers anything toy hers.
Sher, usually people don't mind if we marry white guys. Just find somebody from the third world country or something LOL and see how they would react. But not all are that racist, but many are.
Ida, ni lagi best wooo. Ada tamatown on the net can go to tama town with password. Lagi satu, can connect with other tamagotchis, to mate, to visit each other. I love sims 2, tak dapat main tu, main ni pun jadi lah.
Tana, speaking of tamagotchi, ever heard of mojikan.com? They have this thing called moji, and it's an online pet too. My friend told me about it, it's quite new.
I used to have a tamagotchi last time, too.. but I not sure where it is now.
Hey Syari. I know how you feel.
We are in almost similar situation (can't speak our host country's language). And we are far away from our homeland.
I know what you mean by marrying someone from 3rd world country. A lot of people are asking me why I left Singapore for Croatia (of all the places in the world)?!
