Things to do everyday.
Yup, these are basically the three things I do everyday. (I'm sure it's the same for many of us (^^) ) We wake up, go to work, come back home, be with family (even when we feel we'd rather lie down in bed already), finally get to sleep for a few hours only to repeat the cycle again the next day.
The only reward we give ourselves is a little browsing or read a book before sleep. Gone are the days when I can watch late night movies or play wii or nds games. I finally uninstalled all the Sims 3 from my PC realizing that they only take a lot of space on my computer when I hardly play them anymore. I just hope that I can keep myself healthy and when I retire I can do all the things I can't now.

Polymer panda
Thanks to the cup of coffee that I should have drunk in the evening, I am still up, even though I should be in bed. But since I'm up I might as well do some blogging and check out somethings that I wanted to. Valentines day is around the corner, though I am not much into celebrating Valentines day, but it sure would be a nice occasion to be giving gifts to people I care about.
I tried my hand on polymer clay for the first time not too long ago. Didn't turn out too bad for a first timer.
Took me about half an hour to make and another 15 - 20 minutes to boil the clay. (Somebody at the hobby shop told me to boil it instead of baking it to harden the clay so not to risk your work getting burnt in the end)
So I'm looking at ideas on what I can make with blocks of polymer clay that I bought on discounts from a hobby shop that just closed its door for the last time recently. As long as one has the imagination and of course a good pair of hands, you can make just about anything - earrings, keychains, charms for phones, cufflinks for men, cute hair pins for little girls, and the list goes on.
Hopefully, I won't be too tired or have any programs this coming weekend. Then I'd be making something with the bunch of clay I have in my drawer. :)

Széll Kálmán square
Just a typical cold winter day at Széll Kálmán square ( previously known as Moskva square). It's the place where I would spend 10 to 15 minutes everyday. Not my favourite place but at least it is convenient as there are many buses and trams that start or end their routes there. I can even imagine it would be just the perfect place for those people who met on free online dating sites to have their first meetings. :D Not the most romantic place, but as I said, it is convenient. For my friends and I it is usually our rendezvous before we decide to go anywhere else to have fun. :)

Mancala
We got this wooden game for the entire family as a Christmas present. It is called 'Mancala'. We played it nearly everyday since then. As a kid I played with it a lot, instead of mancala, it is called 'Congkak' back home. It is just a a long piece of wooden board with holes. There would be a certain amount of pebbles in each hole. The goal is to move and collect as many pebbles into your home hole - which is the bigger sized hole on the right hand side. This is how I played it as a kid anyway.
I was quite happy when we found this. Though I must say I was not too happy with the price. :) Well, few years ago items like maternity clothes were rather expensive but nowadays there are more and more fashionable cheap maternity clothes. But wooden game boards that seem like doesn't take much to make, would cost more than I thought it should really cost? Hmmmm... Oh well...
